The event on 11 April, hosted by the ESRC’s The UK in a Changing Europe (UKiCE) Initiative, will have leading practitioners debate the findings of a landmark independent report on the implications of a Brexit for the UK’s environment.

“The EU has had a profound impact upon UK environmental policy and ‘Brexit’ raises the prospect of considerable change in the future. This ESRC funded report addresses the need for clear, balanced and systematic evidence on the implications of EU membership for the UK’s environment.  It brings together leading experts in the field who offer an impartial review of how the EU has affected the UK and the risks and opportunities in key post-referendum scenarios.”

The event will be taking place at the Council Chamber, Broadway House in London. Guest speakers include Matthew Spencer, Director of the Green Alliance and Nick Molho, Director of the Aldersgate Group. For further details and registration, please visit the event page on Eventbrite.
