Our Children’s Trust is a non-profit public interest law firm, providing services to young people with the aim of helping them secure legal rights for a safe climate. By offering strategic and campaign-based legal services, Our Children’s Trust works towards “securing the legal rights of youth to a healthy atmosphere and safe climate, based on the best available science.”
Over the past decade, Our Children’s Trust advocated on behalf of youth and future generations by filing lawsuits globally. In 2015 the organization filed a case against the United States Government, representing 21 young campaigners. This case is demanding the legal right to a safe climate and healthy atmosphere for both current and future generations.
